About the roles….

The PAC Advisory Role is meant for members who would like to contribute to PEYA, but are unable to take on a more hands-on role due to geographical barriers, timing issues, or other obstacles. The purpose of this role is to provide advice, identify areas of concern and recommend ideas for future program direction. This would be achieved by attending 2 out of the 3 required PAC Meetings throughout the year, attending PEYA events whenever possible, and communicating with other PAC members, the PEYA Coordinator and EcoSource Representative.

The PAC Project Implementation Role is meant for members who would like to contribute to PEYA, and are able to take on a more hands-on role. The purpose of this role is to provide advice, identify areas of concern, and recommend ideas for future program direction. In addition, members in this role will initiate, organize and execute a project that enhances PEYA?s work or supports the Executive Committee or PEYA Coordinator. Requirements for this role include creating a project plan, collaborating with other PEYA members, attending 2 out of the 3 required PAC Meetings throughout the year, and communicating ideas and plans with other PAC members, the PEYA Coordinator and EcoSource Representative.

The PAC Champion Role is meant for senior members who have established themselves in their communities, have access to many resources that may be beneficial to PEYA, but are unable to commit to attending 2 out of 3 PAC Meetings. The purpose of this role is to enhance PEYA connections in the broader community and to provide other relevant resources to PEYA.
