PEYA Coordinator

Peel Environmental Youth Alliance Coordinator

Meghavi Patel, B.Sc, MES

Meg believes that the youth of today are the future of tomorrow.  She believes that youth action and participation in environmental matters is crucial. From a young age, Meg has been involved with environmental stewardship activities in her own community and has been an advocate of environmentalism within her family and group of friends. As the PEYA Coordinator at Ecosource, Meg will help equip the youth with knowledge and strategies to become environmentalists in their own communities and schools.  She is avid about building the capacity of youth so that they have the confidence to make positive changes in the world. In her spare time, Meg works with animal shelters and rescue organizations in Toronto and internationally when she travels. In the next few years, she envisions herself opening “Doctors for Dogs” a small network of street animal relief organizations in underprivileged villages in India.
