Sustainable Scare

Have you ever thought about the environmental impact of Halloween every year? What happens to those millions of pumpkins that are carved every year all over the world? How often do you wear your Halloween costume? Come join PEYA as we explore and discuss what a “sustainable Halloween” really means.

Since a real purpose of a squash is to be used for food, we will be making pumpkin pie and serving tea! This event is completely free! Are you artsy? Enjoy crafts? You will also have the chance to carve your very own mini clay pumpkin that you can use every year for Halloween decoration. For this free event, registration is mandatory.  The last day to register is on Tuesday October 17th, so don’t wait, click here to register.

Register first and then join us on Saturday October 21st, at 1004 Middlegate road, Mississauga from 1-4pm for our October GM.
