PEYA’s Amazing Green Race in motion!

Mississauga News – The Carbon Farmer Face Your Footprint contest was the first online contest the Peel Environmental Youth Alliance ever entered, but winning second place and $954 for their Amazing Green Race project made it memorable. PEYA’s plan to hold their first-ever ‘Amazing Green Race’ on May 11th, 2013 to educate participants about the many ways they can make their homes, schools and communities more sustainable. Mississauga News – PEYA is one of thirteen youth-led programs that have received grants totalling $20,000 from the United Way of Peel Region and the Region of Peel Youth-In-Action grants.
