On Thursday, November 25th, 2021 at 5-6:30 pm (EST), the Peel Environmental Youth Alliance (PEYA) will be hosting our November event on Climate Change and Food Sustainability! Join us for a virtual cook-along and to take part in conversations about the food industry in an environmental context and how to reduce your carbon ‘foodprint.’

We will welcome Cynthia Goldrup, classically trained chef and environmentalist, who will be leading the cook-along and discussion. She will be presenting her workshop, Pickling, A look at Food Preservation: Cooking, Food History, Limiting Food Waste and Promoting Accessibility.”

All ingredients will be provided! Participants can sign up for a pick-up time-slot in the registration form. Ingredient kit will need to be picked up at a location in central Mississauga, Ontario. Should you require accommodations, please let us know.

This session will take place over Zoom. A link to join the event will be sent out to those who have registered.
