Passionate about the environment and climate policy, Azka is excited to work with the PEYA team and youth volunteers as an executive and looks forward to spreading awareness and knowledge about different environmental issues through collective action. She is an energetic and hard-working secondary school student and enjoys giving back to the community by working with and volunteering for nonprofits in various leadership roles. Azka is an executive on the Green Team at her school, which is dedicated to upholding environmental practices through engaging events for students to participate in including community clean-ups and waste-free lunches. Azka finds utmost serenity in the outdoors and enjoys spending time at parks and hiking trails. She loves to read and bake in her free time and you can usually find her tweaking a recipe or perfecting her macronage. Azka cannot wait to share her ideas and continue to grow and learn alongside the executive council.
